New Creatives is a free programme for young people in Peterborough, aged 16-24, who want to make theatre, develop their ideas and work with professional artists.

This year, we'll be exploring AI and the environment - and turning your ideas into a brand-new piece of theatre.

What will I do?

As part of New Creatives, you will:

• Try out four different theatre styles with four professional artists

• Choose which artist and theatre style you'd like to explore further as a group

• Develop your own ideas and creative skills

• Work with other young creatives

• Help create an original piece of theatre

• Share your work at a scratch night in Peterborough

• Take your work to Camden Fringe in August 2027

When and where?

• Wednesdays, 5pm-7pm

• October 2026 - August 2027

• Peterborough

Do I need experience?

No previous experience is needed.

We're looking for young people who are curious, creative and willing to try something new. You don't need to have made theatre before.
