ALL residents can access exclusive FREE tickets to see award-winning, international show TRASHedy on Sunday 11 May

International award winning performing:group come to Peterborough to A mountain of plastic takes centre stage in this electrifying mix of theatre, dance, and multimedia. How many plastic cups will you use in a lifetime? How much waste will you leave behind? And what does it say about us as a species?  

Blending animated drawings, dynamic movement, and immersive soundscapes, this award-winning production delivers a razor-sharp, apologetically funny take on personal responsibility and the freedom of choice. Because everything we do has an impact. Somewhere.

Come for the laughs. Stay for the wake-up call.

ECO Games Workshop

A vibrant, high-energy workshop inspiring climate action through creativity, games, and interactive learning before seeing TRASHedy

Hosted by New Creatives Jumped Up Theatres youth programme. Eco Games is an exciting, hands-on workshop experience designed for young people aged 11+ Through a unique blend of play, teamwork, and creative thinking, this workshop brings the urgent issues of climate change, sustainability, and the carbon cycle to life in a way that’s fun and engaging while being completely digestible for young people.



New Creatives youth programme

New Creatives is a free, annual youth programme for young people aged 14 to 24 who are curious about creativity, interested in the world around them, and looking to express themselves in new ways.

New Creatives runs from September to May. Each week, participants work with professional artists and the Jumped Up Theatre team to develop imaginative projects that explore real-world issues, spark dialogue, and grow confidence.

New Creatives get to:

  • Perform/take part in events around Peterborough

  • Gain experience for CV/uni/college applications

  • Build public speaking skills and confidence

  • Meet new people

  • Have your say in Jumped Up Theatre’s future programming

  • Be invited to Jumped Up events for free

This year Hyde Housing is funding its young residents to join New Creatives with reimbursement for travel expenses.
