What are New Creatives 2024-25 up to and how to get involved?

This year’s 2024-25 team are working with artist Jason Mitchell and have created a series of ‘Eco Games’ workshops to tour around the city to educate, engage and empower young people on how to take climate and environmental action. Their vibrant, high-energy workshops inspire climate action through creativity, games, and interactive learning.  Through a unique blend of play, teamwork, and creative thinking, the urgent issues of climate change, sustainability, and the carbon cycle are brought to life in a way that’s both fun and deeply engaging. The workshops dive into environmental topics through:

🌍 The Eco Gameshow – A fast-paced, quiz-style challenge where teams go head-to-head, testing their knowledge of the environment, sustainability, and climate solutions. Expect laughter, surprises, and plenty of friendly competition!

🌱 Interactive Carbon Cycle Game – A fully immersive experience where participants become elements of the carbon cycle, moving through ecosystems, industries, and the atmosphere to see how carbon flows and how human actions affect the balance.

🎮 Mini Games & Creative Challenges – Short, high-energy games that mix physical movement, problem-solving, and imagination to explore eco themes like waste and community action.

New Creatives 2024-25 are touring their Eco Games across the city, you can see them here:
