16:00- 17:00 - TRASHedy
TRASHedy Trailer: A dynamic theatre performance featuring two performers on stage, interacting with a growing pile of plastic waste. The performers use expressive movement, dance, and multimedia projections, including animated drawings, to explore themes of consumerism and environmental impact. The stage is visually striking, with lighting effects enhancing the storytelling. Moments of humor and intensity unfold as the performers engage with plastic objects, emphasizing the absurdity of waste culture. The performance combines physical theatre, sound collages, and visual storytelling to create a thought-provoking experience.
How many plastic cups do we use in the course of our lifetime?
Two performers explore the story of our peculiar evolution, and our impact on the planet. Along the way they keep raising new questions whilst a steadily growing pile of plastic builds up around them.
Using a mix of animated drawings, dance and sound scapes, TRASHedy dives headfirst into the absurdity of our consumer-driven world. As they dig through the chaos, their questions - and the towering pile of trash—only grows.
Because everything we do has an influence. Somewhere.
