Artist Call-Out: Work with Jumped Up Theatre

Jumped Up Theatre is looking for dynamic, creative, and bold performance artists to join our upcoming programme in a range of opportunities starting in October 2025.

We are inviting dancers, theatre-makers, poets, rappers, musicians, spoken word artists, beatboxers, movement practitioners, and all types of performing artists to work with young people in Peterborough.

Our New Creatives 2025–26 programme needs artists to deliver a one-off youth-led, climate-conscious taster creative workshop in October. For example, our most recent project has involved creating clowning and theatre-based games to engage young people about climate change. You may be selected by the young participants to co-create a longer-term project running through to May 2026.

Other opportunities to work with young people are in development, subject to funding, we are open to all enquiries from performance artists interested in working with young people in Peterborough.

  • Share our values of collaboration, inclusion, and environmental awareness

  • Able to work confidently in varied settings, including festivals, schools, and community events
